Lewis Sloan, Jr. continued to serve after the war, served throughout the Korean conflict and participated in the Berlin Airlift, retiring from March AFB California in 1963 as a Major.
Major Lewis B. Sloan, Jr. took his Final Flight on November 15 1992, at rest in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside CA.
