1st Lt Edmund J. Flynn, Airplane Commander, graduated from Harvard Law School and served as President of the Pacific Maritime Association until his retirement in 1982. His wife, Jean, passed away in 1992, and in 1994, he married Noriko "Nikki" Sawada Bridges, who died in February 2003. Later that year, Flynn moved from Pescadero, CA, to Colorado Springs, CO, to be closer to his son.
